CREATE

• • •

Our team uses 2D and 3D computer software, models and hand-drawn sketches to communicate our ideas throughout the design process. This is an iterative process of feedback and refinement. At all stages, the design proposals are tested against the project brief and parameters such as budgets, flexibility and client aspirations are set. Collaboration with other consultants, contractors, local authorities and specialists are also likely to be required in the design development of any project.

Our base knowledge allows us to consider and work with this external expertise to adjust the efficiency of the design. All of this is ultimately co-ordinated into a package of clear and succinct information that the client can follow at all stages.
EXPERIENCE

• • •

Understanding the expectations of the client is a key aspect of our early design process. We believe that any design solution must focus closely upon the comfort of the occupants, maintaining that comfort by minimal means, utilising sustainable design features and incorporating technologies appropriate to the scale and budget of the project.

As a team, there are not many aspects of design and construction which we have yet to encounter. However, we continue to develop our knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies and techniques to ensure that we can propose the most effective design solution by marrying both standard construction methods with flexible, low-energy design features.
TICKING THE BOXES

• • •

Our team prides itself on keeping abreast of the latest planning policy, regulations and standards. This ensures that we put forward the most appropriate scheme at all stages of the design process. We provide clients with a full range of services, which ensure that they are guided through the various ‘box ticking’ exercises with regulatory bodies with ease and confidence.

Although Local Authority approval is by no means guaranteed each time, we pride ourselves on our good relationship with the Local Authority teams, and with the use of specialist consultants as required, we have a good track record of securing permissions on difficult sites.
MANAGEMENT

• • •

Our knowledge of construction and building contracts allows us to engage with construction projects in a contract administrator role, assisting both contractor and client to achieve a high-quality build that is both on time and on budget.
